I became a housewife in 1963, then a college student in my 30s, graduated with a BS in Interior Design from San Jose State University in 1980 with Highest Honors. Began practicing Interior Design at Wells Fargo Bank as a Project Manager in their facilities group, after 4.5 yrs. I left to work at a small interior design firm in Lafayette, then worked for an architect in Walnut Creek, after which I became a consultant to Chevron Corporation. Learned AutoCAD there and began my own business in 1986, had many commercial clients in the San Francisco Bay area and retired in 1999 after I married Ron. We lived in the bay area until 2002 when we moved to Grass Valley to completely retire. Been very busy ever since learning to quilt attending excercise classes 3 times a week, traveling a bit, designing my own residence, and actively attending bible studies, and church activities, and lately serving as Program Chairman for our local Quilt Guild.This year I am serving as Co-President for our Luthern Women's Group

School Story:

Our school was only 7 years old when we began attending. I was proud that my Dad had helped design it! But alas, asbestos got a really bad name as a fire retardant and now there is a new school. I got contact lenses my Junior Year. I remember 'tear'ing and blinking down the hall in between classes. Probably bumping into to other students. The contacts were hard ones then. One time I lost one in my eye and was sure it had gone into my brain. Most of the people who remember that thought it was funny! I also remember lugging all of those heavy books with other buddies all the way home, if we didn't have a ride home or the bus didn't come by. For some of us, it was about 2 1/2 miles. Why didn't we think of backpacks or wheels. I guess the kids today are a little smarter than we were.

Hi Dave! It's hard to believe we are this age! A few years ago you were just a boy on the other side of the block from my house! Time has flown! Here we are at 79! No Way! Happy Birthday, Audrey...my baby nursery pal at St. Rita's Hospital! I hope you have a great Birthday and a very Healthy year too! Figuring out that we were both probably is the Nursery at the same time is so much fun since they kept Moms in the hospital at least 5 days in 1944! Love it! Chris

My brother visited Meg this summer. I am so sad regarding her Ahlzheimer's. For such a vivacious , intelligent and talented How old is your daughter now? I remember when you brought her to our get together at 237 Primrose. She was probably about 1 1/2 at the time!

I hope that you have been safe from Hurricane Ian! My brother lives in Ft. Myers, but is a little bit up from the level of Ft Myers Beach. He has lived there for many many years and says his home is good. What a horrible Hurricane! It is shocking to hear about all of the damage!

I hope you have a great Birthday today with your family! And I wish you good health and Happiness the whole year long! I will not be at the Reunion this year...Maybe the Next Birthday Party... I am going through a divorce after 27 years. my house has been sold and I am temporarily staying with my Son, Scott and Daughter-in-Law, Wendy. I am also recovering from 2 weeks of COVID19. Not a fun year!
